考点1：句首状语为否定词或半否定的词，主谓倒装
这类词主要有Never, neither, nor, little, seldom, rarely, hardly, scarcely, no sooner, not until, not only, in no way, at no time
Not a word did I say to him.
No sooner had he gone to bed than he fell asleep.
注意： not until 放在句首，从句不倒装，主句倒装
Not until last week did I realize that I had lost my wallet.
注意：“not only…but also…”连接两个句子，仅限前个倒装
Not only does Zhou Fang love Chinese, but also he is good at speaking it.
注意：“not only…but also…”连接两个主语，不倒装
Not only the mother but also the kids are sick.
考点2：only + 状语，放在句首
Only+介短
Only+副词
Only+从句
It was announced that only when the fire was under control _ C _ to return to their homes. （08江西）
A. the residents would be permitted
B. had the residents been permitted

考点3： so…that…和such…that…的句子结构
So/Such+所修饰的词，置于句首，主句要倒装，从句不要
She was so moved that she could not say a word.
So moved was she that she could not say a word.
The strength of the fire was such that the whole building was destroyed.
Such was the strength of the fire that the whole building was destroyed.
So置于句首，意为“同样，也，也如此”，表肯定，用So + 助动词+主语
——I love ice creams.
——So do I.
Neither/Nor 置于句首，意为”也不是，也没有”， 表否定，用Neither/Nor + 助动词+主语
So置于句首，意为”确实是这样，的确是这样”，只是肯定或者赞同前面的说法，不用倒装
——You forgot your purse when you went out.
——Good heavens, _B__. （02上海）

考点4：形容词/副词/名词/动词 + as (though) 引导的让步状语从句
Tired as he was, he kept on running.
Child as he is, he has learned two foreign languages.(as 前面的名词不加任何冠词)
Try as he might, he couldn’t open the box.
Hard as he tried, he still failed
注意：though 引导的让步状语从句可倒装也可不倒装,although引导的让步状语从句不能倒装,as 引导时间状从和原因状从，不用倒装。
__, I have never seen anyone who is as capable as John. (01上海)
A. As long as I have travelled
B. Now that I have travelled too much
C. Much as I have travelled
D. As I have travelled so much
考点5：以here, there, now, then等开头的句子
以here, there, now, then等开头的句子，主语是名词，谓语放到主语之前；主语是代词，则不用倒装.
Here she comes.
注意: there be + 主语，可以用来代替be动词的动词：exist, happen, appear, live, rise, stand等。句子通常用一般现在时或一般过去时。
There stood a dog before him.
考点6：表示方向的副词out, in, up, down等置于句首
主语是名词，要用全部倒装，如：In came Mr. White.
主语是代词，则不用倒装。
考点7：表示地点的介词短语放在句首
表示地点的介词短语on the wall, under the tree, in front of the house, in the middle of the room等放在句首时，句子要全部倒装。
On the top of the hill stands a pine tree.
In front of the classroom is a playground.
考点8：虚拟条件句中倒装结构
如果虚拟条件句的谓语动词含有were, had或should, 可以把if省略，而将这三个词置于条件句的主语前，构成倒装。［实习编辑：张露］
